Iran e-Visa
for Everyone

The Iranian government offers an electronic visa (e-visa) system, granting permission to enter Iran within the visa’s validity period and stay for a specified duration. Unlike traditional visas, the e-visa system eliminates the need for physical stickers or stamps in passports, registering entry and exit solely through electronic means.

You don’t get a visa sticker or entry/exit stamps in your passport when visiting Iran.

What is an E-Visa?

An E-Visa, short for electronic visa, is an official authorizationissued digitally by a country’s immigration authority that allows eligible travelers to enter and stay for a specified period. Instead of applying at an embassy or consulate, applicants complete an online form, upload supporting documents, and pay fees from anywhere with internet access. Once approved, the visa is sent via email and must be printed or saved on a mobile device for presentation at the border. This digital approach simplifies the process, reduces paperwork, and shortens processing times, making international travel more accessible. Requirements, processing times, and validity periods vary by country, so travelers should always check the specific E-Visa guidelines before planning their trip.
