Dr. Seyed Ali Malek-Hosseini, registered under Medical Council Code 20679, is a distinguished general surgeon and transplant specialist who completed advanced training including a research fellowship in liver transplantation in Pittsburgh and fellowships in kidney transplantation. He serves as director of the Shiraz Organ Transplant Center and has been a leading figure in developing liver transplant programs in Iran. His clinical practice focuses on complex hepatobiliary surgery and living-donor as well as cadaveric liver transplantation. Professor Malek-Hosseini has an extensive surgical volume and a strong record in training, mentoring, and building transplant infrastructure and services. He remains active in research and international collaboration to improve transplant outcomes and accessibility.
