Hashemi Nezhad Hospital—also known as Shahid Hashemi Nezhad Hospital—was founded in 1958 as a private charitable institution by Hajj Mohammad Mehdi Ebrahimi Dari. Over time, it evolved into a major public medical center and was officially renamed in 1985. The hospital later became an educational and medical center in 2002, aligning its operations with national medical universities and expanding its training programs for urologists and nephrologists.
Shahid Hasheminejad Hospital is located in the northeastern part of Mashhad. This hospital started its operations with maternity, internal medicine, pediatrics and emergency diarrhea and vomiting departments. Shahid Hasheminejad Hospital received war wounded from 1989 to 1999 and gradually several departments were added to this complex. Currently, this hospital is providing services by holding emergency departments of accidents, internal medicine, heart, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and special departments of CCU, neurosurgery ICU, internal medicine ICU and clinical departments of heart, internal medicine, infectious diseases, pediatrics, general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, gynecology and obstetrics, eye and ear, nose and throat and hemodialysis.
