Overview
Dr. Seyed Amir Mohsen Ziaei, registered under Medical Council Code 30130, is a specialist in kidney and urinary tract surgery with a fellowship in Endourology and Laparoscopy and a mini‑fellowship in laparoscopy from Johns Hopkins Hospital, USA. Born in 1963 in Shahrood, he earned his General Medicine degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in 1980 and completed his Urology specialty there in 1994, followed by fellowship training in 1997. He is a Professor at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and a member of the Iranian Urology Board, the World Endourology Association, and the American Urological Association. He serves as President of the Iranian Endourology and Urolaparoscopy Association, has held leadership roles including Educational Deputy Minister of Health (2013–2014), and was President of the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran (2014–2017). He combines clinical excellence in endourology and laparoscopy with academic leadership, international association membership, and national healthcare governance.
