Shahid Dastgheib Hospital in Shiraz is a well-established medical center offering a wide range of specialized departments and healthcare services to meet the needs of the local population. The hospital includes key departments such as Internal Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Emergency Medicine, all staffed by experienced medical professionals. In 1947, the construction of the hospital building started with the donation of 10,000 square meters of land to the Road Administration and was completed in 1949. In 1950, by equipping the building with the name of road administration hospital with 25 beds, and in the same year the hospital started to work. The units of this clinic were: pharmacy, doctor's room, injections and dressings. In 1952, its name was changed to Soraya. At the beginning of 1961, this center, with the support of the government, advanced the clinic and in 1967, it was upgraded to a hospital, which had gynecological, pediatric, surgical, ophtalmoloy, and ear, nose and throat departments. That the women's department with 20 beds and general surgery with 15 beds were admitting patients. After that, the internal and pediatric departments and the orthopedic department were established with the cooperation of Dr. Khabeer. In 1976, hospitals were numbered, and this center was renamed to Hospital No. 3; which included a pediatric ward with 90 beds, an ophtalmology ward with 20 beds and an ear, nose and throat ward with 20 beds. The hospital was equipped with an emergency ward which admitted emergency patients from another cities and countryside.

The pediatric clinic includes specialists in endocrinology, growth, development, infectious diseases, nutrition, digestion and pediatric internal medicine.
The ENT surgery clinic includes ear surgery examination, rhinoplasty, facial plastic surgery and nasal deviation, nasal polyps, eyelid surgery.
The eye surgery clinic includes cataract surgery, glaucoma, eyelid aesthetics and lacrimal duct and obstructive problems.
